I keep getting asked when PREDATORS is coming out. The technical answer is July 9th. My preferred answer is “not soon enough.”
An international red-band trailer for PREDATORS hit the internet today, and it hits all the right buttons for me. More clips of the cast in action, more glimpses of the planetary game preserve… and a good amount of blood and guts.
As you can imagine, I’m very ready for this movie. The last trailer was pretty good. I’ve heard John Debney’s score – and as I’ve previously said (which, in turn, I stole from my roommate first) – Debney is doing Alan Silvestri major homage, and even sounds more like a Silvestri score than recent Silvestri scores. Does Silvestri better than Silvestri.
Maybe I just like typing Silvestri. Silvestri, Silvestri, Silvestri.
Also – having recently fallen in love with the great movie SPLICE – I’m really interested to see how Adrien Brody pulls this one off. I hope there’s at least one moment from him in the film like this one:
