Hi all.  I suck at television. Don’t get me wrong.  I love, love, love a good longform story.  Television is an amazing place to find great stories and characters and writings and holy-f%$k moments.  But I’ve fallen into the Netflix ‘I’ll catch the whole series later’ limbo, and – shit, I haven’t even finished LOST.  So yes, I suck at television.

But I recognize that as brilliant as Get To The Chopper is (tongue firmly in cheek) that there might be readers who’d like more television coverage.  Plus, I love reading about what shows are out there – great way to whittle out the dreck and focus on the genius.

Chopper TV will basically be just that – dreck-whittling and genius-focusing.  Television writings of a badass kind.  And helping to pioneer the path for us (cue Hans Zimmer track) is our new TV byline spearheaded by new Chopper columnist Angel Perales.   He’s a terrific writer, journalist, and poet with strong opinions (even if you don’t agree with them) and the goods to back them up. Plus, he’s won two Emmys for his work on the news – not a bad pedigree.
